Letizia
Hi, I’m Letizia and it all started with a little camera.
I’ve been travelling for as long as I can remember. As a child, I would travel with my parents, and I was always the one carrying a little camera around even on school trips. While everyone else was having fun, I was taking pictures.
During high school, I started studying photography, and over the years it became a way of looking at the world. At university, I spent time abroad through different exchange programmes, always with my camera by my side. I’d often wake up at sunrise while everyone else was still sleeping, just to go out and photograph a new place.
After university, I decided I wasn’t ready for those adventures to end, so I packed my cameras and tripod and travelled solo through Asia for six months.
But I’ve always loved more than just photography and travelling. I’ve always been drawn to paper, books, crafts and making little things by hand.
Then I discovered the world of snail mail and mail clubs on Instagram, and it immediately felt like something I wanted to create. I wanted to combine all the things I love: travel, photography, letters, paper and illustration.
Luckily, I have a very talented friend who loves to draw — so I asked her to join me.
And that’s how The Travel Diary Mail Club began.
Every month, we turn a little piece of the world into something you can hold, read, collect and keep.
